I started reading Tolkien when I was 17. From then on I read the books once a year. I raise three children, keep tons of books, cd's and far too many movies to actually find the time and watch them, and - sensitive or not - I'm sure the Shire exits. Somewhere... whereever it may be. After I translated my first english tale in July/August 2003, I suddenly "stumbled" into creating a site for good Tolkien-based stories, which was my biggest hobby until the beginning of September 2010 when the site was officially closed. It still exists, though, and my German readers still have the ongoing chance to read the great tales by many splendid authors in their native language. 99 % of the stories I wrote myself can be found there (in German). My tales can also be found in the "Open Scrolls Archive", on "Stories of Arda", "West of the Moon", on "Sycophant Hex" (my Harry Potter-tales) and on WRFA (the tales I wrote for the X-Men- fandom).

After I've changed my user name and decided to quit writing fanfiction (not because of any "lesser" value, but because of the chance that I might actually publish something that's entirely mine), you won't find fanfiction in this journal any longer.
